Zlata is a fourth-year thesis student in the BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her project focuses on the adsorption of 2,6-diisopropylphenol at alkanethiol monolayers. In addition, as an undergraduate Research Assistant in The Rackus Group, she has been working on the project Printed Electronics using Metal Nanoparticles and Programmable Fluorescent Molecules for the past twelve months. Zlata has a passion for innovation and problem-solving with an emphasis on medical research and is anticipating opportunities to make a difference in the STEM field. In her free time, Zlata likes to watch sports, cook, and write poetry.
