Kathy is a first year MSc. student in the Molecular Science program at TMU. Her project focuses on the integration of novel electrodes into PDMS microfluidic devices.
Kathy also completed her BSc. at TMU with a major in Chemistry. Her undergraduate thesis project was within the field of inorganic chemistry and focused on bismuth (III) and antimony (III) metal-halide compounds containing azole-cations. This experience has helped Kathy realize that research is what she wants to continue pursuing as she explores different branches of chemistry and their applications.
During Kathy’s free time, she builds Gundams, watches questionable reality TV shows, (tries to) produce lo-fi music, and writes food reviews. She was even a Yelp elite 2 years in a row!
