Aaliya is a first year MSc. student in the Molecular Science program at TMU. Her project focuses on developing a competitive immunoassay for detection of 25-OH vitamin D3 which will be translated to a digital microfluidic platform.

Aaliya completed her HBSc. in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto where she completed a major in Human Biology and a double minor in Psychology and French. 

During Aaliya’s free time, she loves to spend time with her nieces and nephews, read books (obsessively), try different desserts and listen to music!
